Uniqueness and sustainability
Our alternative clothing is made exclusively in our tailor shop in northern India. We are on site in India several times a year, buying fabrics and working closely with the tailors. We design alternative clothing out of conviction. With our company, we do not want to be part of an industry that relies on mass-produced goods and a throwaway culture. That is why we only ever buy a limited number of meters of fabrics and patterns. This means that our trousers, skirts and dresses are almost always made in small series. We process leftover fabrics into our unique patchwork skirts and tops.
Fair manufacturing in India
We are committed to the fair trade concept and can guarantee good working conditions on site. The tailor shop is clean and air-conditioned. The wage level is above the legal minimum wage. We also pay attention to a good working environment and reasonable working hours, observed rest days, and public holiday and overtime pay. We also attach importance to transparent supply chains. Neither we nor our suppliers employ children. We do not use animal products. In order to be able to operate economically, we have expanded our initially small team and, in addition to our own items, we also produce school uniforms and work clothes for the local market.
